STAR-CATION x BFF Tag

To mark the end of our holidays together, we stayed over at Amara Sanctuary Resort last Monday!

Booked our room through Agoda for about $380 a night and we swam, watched MTV Movie Awards together and filmed the BFF tag video. It was a good day together :)

As there are peacocks roaming around the area freely, be prepared to be awakened by peacocks calling out to each other to mate. Thats what we experienced the next morning.

Tyn thought she'll be able to avoid the construction that is going on near her condo, little did she know her sleep will be disturbed by peacocks and birds here.

It literally sounds like a bird park early in the morning because all the birds will hang out opposite our balcony every morning.

Although its a single-storey room, its located on the second floor

 Trees everywhere, like living in a jungle for a day.

Apparently, the area used to be occupied by the British Colonial Army and near our dorms were 2 bomb shelters. We didn't notice them till we sent Stella out past midnight. It was quite creepy.

Notice the mosquito net? It's not for decoration purpose ya. The room was swarming with mosquitoes who were super hungry for blood.

We wanted to sleep with the mosquito net but it was too dusty and my friends were worried I might get allergic to the dust... So we requested for mosquito repellent from the front desk.

Our toilet was pretty amazing.

After unpacking, or rather, after I helped them unpack, we went out for lunch.

Wanted to eat cheap, so we walked over to resorts world and ate at the Malaysia Street Food.
Worst lunch ever.
PRICEY AND TASTELESS.
Except for the Prawn Mee Soup that I ordered. That was pretty tasty.

Was bitter about our unsatisfying lunch, we laughed at hill billies who prolly never see escalators in their homeland before.

They were trying to take a pic of their friends on the escalator and everyone else had to wait for them to finish.

 LOL

Anyway, after lunch we went back to our hotel for a swim hehe.

Couldn't walk back as it was too hot, so we took a shuttle bus.

As planned, we filmed The Bff Tag together (in pairs) after watching the MTV Movie Awards. <3

Checked out the next morning and went for Dim Sum Buffet at Bao Heng Chinese Restaurant!
Only $18 per person!!
Not the best dimsum in town but for the price, its pretty okay :)

Asked them to smile for the camera, they were so unmotivated.

So I motivated them by saying, "think of all the dimsums we're gonna have!!!"

Sheryl's face says: "I LOVE DIMSUM"

Tyn's face says: "ME TOO HEHE *SNORTS* ...HEY WHO TURNED OF THE LIGHTS?!"

Rach's chipmunk face says: "CANT WAIT TO STUFF MY FACE WITH DIMSUM"

Anne's face says: "haha, no thanks, wa mai wa mai"

Hehe, love my friends. 

Year 3 officially starts tmrw for Sheryl and I :(

May this final year go smoothly for us all (Neo and Joy included), and may Rach and Tyn enjoy their last few months of holiday before going back to school again.

It's gonna be a busy year ahead of us. :(
