TYNISBACK X PRIVÉ BRUNCH

3/4 REUNITED!!!

Tyn finally came back to us!!! Bitch actually told us she was coming back on 28th, but she surprised us on the 25th. She came back to Sheryl flying off to Phuket and Rach still in Italy. #failedsurprise

Reunited with her the night she came back and with Sherool today. Waiting for Rach to come back now to complete the foursome. :(

Eggs Royale / Bunless Burger / Aglio Olio / Fish & Chips

It was my first time having brunch there, still is my favourite place to come back to whenever I want nice food and nice ambience. (Also when my friends have the car...) It was ridiculously humid, but a cuppa iced long black helped. ;)

"i missed you guys soooo maaach!!!"
(one of those brief moments she expresses her love for us.)

So glad darling kenken came to join us today hehehe.

Finally got to see bae in his best outfit on his off-day. <3

Forcefully made kenken put his arm on my thigh. From the look on his face, I can tell he was very happy.

Hehe so glad to finally have you back after 8 months babygirl. We missed you so much.

GRADUATION DAY

HAPPY GRADUATION ERRBODY!!!
YES i am back, this time round with a diploma to my name.

I entered Temasek Poly with these 2 silly girls, they naturally come first in this blog post.

NEO JIE

TEO JIE a.k.a Dajie

Thank you girlies, for being such sweethearts, waiting for me at the end of classes/lectures, because i love taking out everything in my bag and i pack up really slowly. HAHA. If you had left with the other girls we were hanging out with, we wouldn't have been friends till now. So glad we clicked and grew even closer in 2.2 to where we are today.

:')

I LOVE Y'ALL SO MUCH!!!
This will not be our last pic together.

It was really crowded after the grad ceremony, I had to take picture of this balloon so that Simran knows where I am. Balloons on that day are like lamp posts to find people easily.

And of course, took pictures with the classmates (of 1.5 semesters) that I ended poly with :)

And amongst everyone, I've found this gem. :)

Hehehe I really am very happy with how Poly ended. Built a friendship and grew a lot closer with these people as the terms went by. Got to work with most of them and I would say we could work very well together.

The highlight would definitely be the third year - when we all had to work as a class for the National Museum, and Dhoby was our home. From all the chilling (even tho we were dead tired from prepping the museum), to truth and dares under the night sky at Dhoby Green, we've kissed known alot about each other. Thanks for making the last year of poly so memorable, and for being such fun bunch of people to hang with.

So so thankful to all the friends I've made in poly. Never once regretted transferring out of MI to TP. :')

Another milestone achieved!! WE'RE ALL OFFICIALLY DIPLOMA HOLDERS!!!
Congrats everyone, and happy graduation.

Sheryl's 20th x SCHOOL'S OUT!

Last Friday was the last day of school for the semester! Study week, exams, holidays for a week before internship starts. Really can't wait to start internship though. Mixed reviews from everyone that hears about the company I'll be working in. I just hope I don't get into trouble for my job scope from the school...

Anyway the end of July was dedicated to celebrate Sheryl's 20th birthday as well as busy planning for the Istana Arts Event and the Open House held by the National Museum. Almost every week, we were at Dhoby Ghaut, just to meet up with the museum staff or watch a movie and chill after. Dhoby was my home ground for the past 3 weeks. I am so not going back there anytime soon.

Spuds and Aprons – Mt. Faber Peak

Brought Sheryl out for dinner on this day at Mt. Faber. She brought me to a really nice place for dinner for my birthday so it was my turn :) Initially I wanted to bring her to The Jewel Box for a fine dining dinner, but when we got there, we found out that they changed to a more casual dining restaurant. But we decided to try it out anyway. The view and ambience was great, but the only problem I had that night was going to the loo 3 times that night.

That was because I had constipated for a week and I thought prune juice would help. I bought a bottle to try, drank half of it, and my constipation problem was gone! Instead of stopping there, I drank more cuz I liked the taste of prune juice, I had constipation no more, but I didn't know diarrhoea was coming my way.

Stomach started bubbling, I kept farting and I started pooping more than I should in a single day. Now, I have a phobia of prune juice. ITS EVIL PEOPLE DONT DRINK IT. Or just don't drink the whole bottle...

Laurent Bernard Chocolatier

After dinner, Sheryl drove to Roberson Quay for dessert! Apparently they're known for their soufflés and we've never tried it before, so we were pretty excited. I've always wanted to try soufflés cuz of Masterchef. Gorden Ramsay always emphasises on how it's so difficult to make and it distinguishes a good pastry chef from a bad by making this dessert.

Each soufflé take 30 mins to bake so we ordered tea and a lemon tart while waiting.

I love how sour and tangy the lemon curd was, but Sheryl thought it was too sour. The souffle, however, was not really to my liking. Its too bitter and tasteless for me. Maybe its to complement the vanilla ice cream and sauce...

Henderson Waves Bridge

Sheryl's actual birthday today! Rach suggested to have a picnic at Henderson Bridge but Tyn couldn't come with us cuz she was in Japan. (she cried while watching my snaps cuz she missed us) I always wondered what that bridge was whenever I pass by there to go to Vivo, so now I know. The view and ambience was great, defo a great place for couples to hanky panky. ;)

Rach prepared beehoon and curry for us and bought sushi! Didn't have time to prepare any food cuz I had school ):

26 July 2014, Saturday
Supply and Demand – Somerset 313

Today was Sheryl's surprise birthday dinner. It was a failed surprise tho, found out that her classmate leaked to her that we planned this for her :(

Food here was pretty good as well, had a good time catching up with Rajali cuz she sat next to me at the table :)

27 July 2014, Sunday
Orchard Country Club

Last celebration for Sheryl's birthday! Three of us booked a room for her at OCC. We reckoned she would want a mini relaxation/getaway from her usual habitat cuz of internship. It was all well-worth it from her face when we brought her to the place.

We finally filmed another video at yet another hotel room as well. This time round, it was the Youtube Whisper Challenge. Out of all the videos we've filmed together, this was the most fun to film out of all. :)

______________________________________________________

Its halfway through August now, I can't believe how much has changed during the past few months and lots more to change from now on as well. Am never a fan of changes but I guess the time has come. Taking it one day at a time to get used to life. Tyn has only 2 more weekends left in Singapore and exams are in a weeks' time, I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but I'll try my best to spend time with her whenever I can. This is actually the last few pictures I will post in this blog with the 4 of us. Treasuring every second together we have left.

Bittersweet feeling for September's arrival...
