Stelly's 21st!

Nautical Themed Afternoon Tea Party!

Shifted and extended the dining table and threw a table cloth over.

Blue Velvet Cupcakes (yummy and pretty!)
(specially ordered from @hamka_rahman)

Super late post on Stella's 21st birthday celebration, but her birthday just passed (5th Feb), so I thought its not too late. Hehe.

Anyway party was held on the 26th Jan and the theme, obvsly, was Blue x White!

Choosing a theme for a party isn't easy and the internet makes it worst with uncountable ideas. So I guess you gotta choose according to what you like and/or what defines you.

Sat down one night with Stella to discuss her birthday plans as it was less than a month away and she was terribly stressed abt it and it made me realise how much I actually do love planning for such parties. Most important things to think through is: Venue? Food - Catered? Homemade? Games? Drinks? Theme/Decor? Dress code? Guests?

So Stella got down to calling up caterers (eg. Delifrance) and Sheryl found a pastry chef that baked her the pretty blue velvets. Tyn and her dad made their famous sushi and mushroom sauce, and stella's friend, Avryl did awesome Apple Crumble Pie, devilled eggs and cheeseboard.

Its a tea party thus everything served is fingerfood. Stella's relatives were invited and the uncles were asking why aren't there any beehoon and curry hahahaha!

Spent the night before decorating the whole house with Sheryl and Stella till about 430am. Everything was mainly nautical themed. With Sheryl's large nautical collection.
Painstakingly folded the plastic cutleries with blue serviettes for almost an hour but was criticised by them for taking so long. -_-

The next day came, balloons were hung up, food table was set up by Sheryl and guests arrived.

Blue Soda to suit the theme.
(Made from a drop of blue colouring and plenty of Sprite)

I miss my purpur hair alr...

Trying to catch gummies with their mouths.
Invite us to a party and we know how to entertain ourselves.

 Look at sheryl's devil face.
Tyn's attempt at making food look good. Gorgeous... Gentle... Beautiful

Then there's Rach's.

And of course, whats a party without a photobooth! Everyone (esp us, oops) hogged onto the it hehehe props were printed and drawn by us!

 Puzzled by her unibrow.
 Purple x Red

Stella's mom. Her top's the bomb!!

Brandon, little rascal sure knows how to make use of the props.

And it was time to cut the cake!

The Phuas

Photographer of the day. Call me beep me if u wan my service.

Everyone was involved in phototaking and they felt left out in the corner. HAHAHA.
Look at their scorned faces.

Took loads of polaroids as well hehe.

Also, another tip, charades is always a good game to play during parties like these.
Best ice breaker game ever. :)

That sums up Stella's 21st Birthday party. Hope she had as much fun as we all did (:

Happy birthday again Stella, you're definitely the product of an unicorn - the most giving and caring person in the world. An elder sister I never had. Hehe luv u many many. <3

Till next time! xx
