I left the house and Sheryl said to meet at 1245 at Cityhall as she's with her mom at a cosmetics sale. I thought its pretty convenient as I needed to get cake and balloons there as well. As I got there, she told me to walk out of raffles city and into the hot sun to meet her and her mom at some building. I got really pissed off because I needed to get the stuff for Joy's birthday and we arranged to meet in about 1 hour time. So i refused despite her persuading me over the phone twice.
Honestly, at that point of time, I felt that she had a surprise for me because her surrounding was quiet (didn't sound much like a crazy cosmetics sale...) and I was smiling to myself for having such stupid thoughts while being pissed as hell. Though I hoped she has a surprise for me (for no reason actually, prolly to make up for v day), I quickly shrugged that thought off and told her I will just get the cake and balloons and we'll meet when I'm done.
She couldn't take me no more, she walked over to Raffles City to find me, told me that she left her things in her mom's car and needed to walk back to the 'building'. On our way there, I was grumbling and grumbling non-stop about how stupid she was for wanting me to walk all the way there to find her and back to Raffles City to get Joy's stuff.
We walked for about 5 mins, we arrived at this building called 'Naumi', which I had no clue it was a hotel at that time.
Entered the lift, she took out a card to press the floor. I was expecting a convention hall when we went out of the lift. Instead, there were rooms. I asked, "why are we here?" and she repLIED that her mom got a free room.
I felt bad for the entire time we're there for being such a grumpy bitch but I felt like the happiest girl as well.
Took a few pics in the room and headed out to meet Joy and Neo at Wisma!
Apparently everyone around me knew about the surprise for me, so they were curious about how it went. (Obvsly Sheryl complained like mad but its k, I accept :'( )
We headed to Koh Grill Sushi Bar as I have raved about the Shiok Maki to J&N before and they haven't had the chance to try it yet.
It took about 1 hour plus for the food to arrive. Slowly, dish by dish.
This place really tests your patience. So if you have none, DONT BOTHER. But I highly recommend this place for couples on their first date - test each other's patience as well as make use of the time to talk and get to know each other hehehe
Went to Taka to take mandatory birthday photos and polaroids with Joy while waiting for Rach and Tyn to come and join S and I at the hotel.
Wind was so strong the whole time the ballons kept hitting her face HAHAHA
I LOVE YOU SFM BITCH, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! :-*
Joy and Neo left and Rach and Tyn followed us back to the hotel hehe. Swam, ordered room service, did what girls would do in a room together LOL, and watched Friends. :)
Caught her doing this when we were all very distracted. Then we realised...
She's got booze in her pocket and shes trying to take an instagram-worthy shot.

Always and forever doing the bliss face alone...
Night View
Look at how comfy they are.
Hehe the rest headed home and Sheryl and I ended the night with more friends and had the best sleep ever. Missing the bed so so much.
Was supposed to have the breakfast buffet in the hotel but we saw how little the selection was and it was about $20++ per person, so we decided to walk out of the hotel and find somewhere else to eat. Most shops were still closed as its only 9am, but we managed to find a cafe just nearby!
Went back to the room after and watched more friends, made coffee using the nespresso machine in the room (must fully utilise the room), showered and checked out.

Thanks for the lovely surprise dear. So sorry that I kept saying you don't surprise me enough just as we were on our way to the hotel... I said all the wrong things and you just let me spout all the nonsense till we got to the room. I had a great time and I hope you did too hehe. I luv u many many. <3
xx
